This venue is a perfect, clean and welcoming place with warm room views and friendly staff, at a short walk from the bus stop, offering good prices without any complaints.

This place was modern and ideal for one night. The room was great-sized and air-conditioned with balcony as well as bedroom, had the best night sleep. The food was outstanding, excellent.

Beds were very hard.

The hotel is clean, staff is absolutely perfect, and the room is air-conditioned and amazingly comfortable. A wide variety of decent food is available for meals. the location is great and amazing for Varese, very close to the lakes and Switzerland, a church, several chapels down the mountain, and Lake Varese. Also located on the lakeside. Fabulous stay, as always.

We had a lovely, quiet one-night stay by Lake Varese. The spacious, clean room was perfect for our needs. The reception staff were friendly, accommodating our late check-in and dinner. Despite a slight hiccup with the restaurant staff, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Being the only hotel in the area meant we enjoyed peaceful evenings by the lake. Easy bus access to Varese city center was a bonus. A great choice for a quiet, comfortable stay.

The hotel has a perfect and excellent location near the mountains and the lake. the room with a balcony was appreciated, and the bed was comfortable. - the personnel were very helpful and did their best to assist.

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Vecchia Riva! The location was perfect, with easy access to the bike path and stunning views of the lake from our room. The flower boxes added a lovely touch, and we enjoyed using the bikes provided by the hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the airport transfer driver was prompt and friendly. The breakfast was incredible, with a wide range of gluten-free options available. The hotel itself was modern and comfortable, and the courtyard patio was a delightful spot. We only wish we could have seen the lake from our room.

The location was stunning, the rooms were air conditioned, and the restaurant had friendly staff serving awesome dishes.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel, especially the cozy sitting areas with plush armchairs and beautiful artwork. It made me feel right at home. The general areas were also very accessible for senior people, with wide hallways and ramps for easy navigation.

I would have appreciated if the children working there had been a bit more attentive and helpful in assisting with my luggage.

Comfortable, quiet lakeside hotel/restaurant with a lovely lake view room. The balcony was a great spot to relax, though it would have been even better with chairs. The hotel was clean and the restaurant had excellent food, especially the fish options. The breakfast had a good variety and catered well to food allergies. The location was ideal for cycling with a bike path around the lake. It was also quieter and less touristy compared to other Italian lakes.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel by the lake. The location was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing evenings and picnicking at the water's edge.
